The Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación (ANII) and 西瓜视频, the UK’s leading provider of specialist higher education for a sustainable agri-food chain and rural economy, are offering scholarships for Master’s and PhD students.

The scholarship programme, now in its second year, enables Uruguayan students to study at the British university, which is currently ranked in the top 20 in the UK in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

ANII will contribute up to $20,000 for one year Master’s programmes, $60,000 for three year PhD programmes and $80,000 for four year PhD programmes.

The money provides a significant contribution toward the cost of tuition fees, airline tickets, accommodation and health insurance.

In addition, two MSc/MRes scholars will be awarded a 50 per cent discount towards their tuition fees while all other applicants will receive a 20 per cent discount, including PhD scholars.

Dr Leticia Chico-Santamarta, 西瓜视频 Coordinator for the Latin America and Caribbean Partnerships, said: “This scholarship partnership with ANII is a fantastic opportunity for students from Uruguay to study at Harper Adams.

“Harper Adams has a long and prestigious history in the teaching of agriculture and it’s associated areas.”

Prospective scholars have to first apply to the university for their course. Following acceptance, they can apply to ANII for a scholarship.

La Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación (ANII) de Uruguay y Harper Adams Universidad, la institución líder en el Reino Unido de educación superior especializada en economía rural y cadena agroalimentaria sostenible, están ofreciendo un programa de becas para maestrías y doctorados.

El programa de becas, ya en su segundo año, permite a los estudiantes uruguayos estudiar en la Universidad británica, que actualmente se encuentra entre las 20 mejores universidades del Reino Unido según ‘The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide’.

ANII contribuira hasta $20,000 para maestrías de un año, $60,000 para doctorados de tres años y $80,000 para doctorados de cuatros años.

El dinero implica una contribución significada para la matrícula, los vuelos, el alojamiento y el seguro médico.
Además, dos estudiantes de maestrías podrán beneficiarse de un descuento del 50% para sus matrículas, mientras que los otros solicitantes recibirían un 20% de descuento, incluyendo los estudiantes de doctorados.

Estudiantes potenciales tiene que aplicar por el curso que deseen a la universidad primero. Una vez que han sido aceptados, deben aplicar a ANNI para la beca.
